visuals on military equipment, especially the B-2 was very nice but if thats about all it had going for it. the blonde loli? the black dude who disappears halfway through the movie, the bald dude from the beginning what hapened to them? surviving that nuke at the end? COME ON MAN!! and then to just pass it off as "o well ur nigga god was watching your back" guess he wasnt watching dubais back. definitely thought it would be great beause kamiyamas past works (mostly gits) but this fell way below my expectations. Was going to give it a 5/10 for the action, but I was too disappointed by this. I was really looking forward to more of his works.
It would have also allowed for more political/ religious exploration. more time for characterization and development. I definitely think it would have been better as a TV series. It really was a shabby plot.ĭirecting was rather poor as well. If you're going to dive into that and religion, please be more psychological. The only thing I liked was the action visuals.
They're terrible in comparison to his TV series (especially this one). But it seems like he's really bad at directing movies. 95% of the reason I decided to watch this was because it is directed by Kamiyama Kenji. So He gave unto man an opportunity to atone for his misdeeds and flame and smoke and the roar of a lion descended upon earth and shattered the many towers to dust.Yeah, okay, just throw my expectations out the window. Scattering across the land and laying it to waste, man turned a deaf ear to His Voice. But those who dwelt upon the land, through vanity, cunning and greed, attempted to build a multitude of towers whose tops reached unto heaven, and accumulated great wealth on earth. "In the beginning was the Voice, and the word was Him and all obeyed His word in great awe. Decades later, the nine cyborgs seem to be untouched by time, but they live in a world where "justice" has as many nuances as the number of people living on the planet. The nine cyborgs rebel and start to fight against their creators in the name of justice and world peace.
Nine regular humans from different parts of the world are abducted and transformed into cyborgs with astounding powers for the purpose of being used as weapons.
